>mogs every other post-punk album
How did they do it bros?
Mogs every other post-punk album
idk if they did or not, but that's exceedingly easy to do. Post-punk is one of the most shitty, mediocre genres.
sorry, op here. uploaded the wrong image
No definitely not. This is like The Sound but even more mediocre.
Take the goth pill. Yes Deceit is goth adjacent and this song is great

wish their stuff was on streaming so I can be spoon fed. There's some, but it's in horrid quality
You should really learn how to use soulseek
Here let me spoon feed you:

A mediocre version of The Sound is still infinitely better than fucking This Heat.
It's too soon for you to enjoy This Heat yet. You can't just go straight from groups like The Chameleons and The Sound to This Heat and expect to like it.
Yeah, This Heat are just so patrician. That's why Deceit is in RYM's top 400 and s/t is #10 for 1979.
>caring about rym

I don't care about that website. It was to show you that your shitty band isn't some underground gem that us lowly plebeians just can't understand.
Bands don't need to be underground or obscure to be good. Obviously I don't expect someone who likes "underrated" groups like The Sound to get this.
Your argument was literally that my feeble mind couldn't handle This Heat based on your assumption that i liked The Sound and The Chameleons. Despite the fact that This Heat are literally the more popular and most acclaimed band out of the three. For what it's worth though, This Heat could never make a song as good as Longest Days or Soul in Isolation.
>Despite the fact that This Heat are literally the more popular and most acclaimed band out of the three.
Yes, but despite being more popular. They are also more experimental. That's why I said that you couldn't handle it yet. Just because it's more popular does not mean it's less experimental.
really need to finally get around to getting my ISP to give me IPv4 so I can open ports and share my stuff. I like using soulseek but feel like a leech since people can't download my files
>you just can't handle my poofta entry level post-punk band
Uh huh, sure dude.
hot take but I can respect it, the deluge of shitty post-punk bands in the 2010s really exposed the formula
>can't handle my poofta entry level post-punk band
Contrarianism does not make you interesting. Not liking classic bands because they are "entry level" and going for obscure stuff like. The Chameleons and The Sound just make you look like a tryhard pseud. And judging from your replies you clearly seem to have been filtered by it. Despite it being "le entry level."
>Not liking classic bands because they are "entry level" and going for obscure stuff like
This Heat is a "classic band" exclusively in indie magazines and tranny websites.
>The Chameleons and The Sound just make you look like a tryhard pseud
How does enjoying melodic bands with strong musicianship and songwriting come across as more "tryhard pseud" than liking this?

>And judging from your replies you clearly seem to have been filtered by it
In the same way I'm filtered by the smell of shit, sure.
>Despite it being "le entry level."
It is. Though to your credit somewhat, I think a sizable percentage of the people who claim to like them don't actually listen to their records very often.
>This Heat is a "classic band" exclusively in indie magazines and tranny websites.
This Heat is also liked by other musicians, post-punk ones in particular.
>How does enjoying melodic bands with strong musicianship and songwriting come across as more "tryhard pseud" than liking this?
Not so much the enjoying the melodic part but more so the rejection of universally acclaimed classic groups like This Heat just because you can't understand it, and praising groups like The Chameleons, who before the algorithms started favouring them, were mostly just known by manchester fags. And the main reason for this is because you were exposed to them first due to things like youtube recs and rym charts.
>In the same way I'm filtered by the smell of shit, sure.
