Probably X Japan's Dahlia. On one album you get a collection of kickass, futuristic rock bangers AND a bunch of supremely sentimental, delightfully overlong ballads that put you in a truly one of a kind mood. What I also admire about this record is that it's clear in my mind that all members are giving their absolute everything: heart, soul, tears, blood... It's a true voyage into unapologetically extreme emotions.
