The legend of Robert Johnson is funny because he wasn't supposed to be the best of them, he just went from being a shitty guitarist who couldn't play for shit, to being good enough to be remembered with the best of them. It didn't take him long either, so people thought he made a deal with the devil and I guess he played off of that in his music, or he really did.
