I havent listened to Low Life in a while but usually the first tracks that come to mind are Elegia, Sunrise and Face Up. Upon relistening yeah they are worthy of TOP NO SONGS. Probably the best New Order album overall in terms of consistency. Probably even edges out Substance. I don't much care for Love Vigilantes

I love both, and I honestly don't feel strongly one way or the other. I actually think their peak is right at the end of Joy Division and right at the beginning of New Order. When Joy Division (then Warsaw) started, they were a good, angular, edgy post-punk band. Then they got depressive, and then they became beautiful. New Order started at that point of beauty, then started incorporating more and more dance elements, until they were basically just a dance-rock band. I like that space in between.
