Nah, the only good albums from 1980 and 1981 were both from Iron Maiden

The 70s baby

>finally
I thought that was the consensus a long time ago

is this a passage-of-generations thing? because not long ago i thought the consensus was the 1960s was the best

Yeah, for SHIT MUSIC

00's was best

80's was filled with way too much cringe.

There is no best decade
Most music is utter garbage

Lol no
It's probably the worst decade

80 > 60 = 70 > 90 > 00 > 50 >>>>>>>>>> current

Was TAPESTRY released in the 90s??? I don't think so!!

80s are kinda a litmus test of a person’s tastes on Any Forums. If they like it then they are most likely a fan of genres like post-punk, new wave, and their offshoots. While those who hates the 80s will probably dislike those genres.

is there such thing as being TOO based?
cuz... this might be it.

So 80s fans like 80s stuff? Cool thanks

>nostalgia for the 80's
Normie shit and they've been doing it for 20 years.

80's was the best decade if you like metal, punk, goth

If you don't like one of those things a lot, I really don't care about your opinion of music because it's probably basic

>punk bitch can't into high pH
You have baby tier Nickelodeon mush brain.

But late 70s post-punk>>>>>s post-punk

Yeah post-punk and offshoots like shoegaze and 80s indie are just the most trendy things currently. Not too long ago it was 60s rock, however. When britpop/drum n bass/90s alt-rock/grunge/whatever becomes the next big trend again then people will be saying the 90s was the best decade.

I like punk and I think the 80s are overrated

This has been ongoing since late 00’s/2010’s

Popular trends have no shifted toward idolizing late 90’s/00’s artists

People really out here wearing “vintage” stone temple pilots shirts lol gross
