>objectively better than Pablo Honey
>not as depressingly faggy as OK Computer
>none of that beep boop Kid A shit

It’s 100% the most demonstrative of their skills as songwriters and composers. I love a lot of their later work, but the truth is you don’t need much talent to at least encroach on the same territory as Kid A and AMSP (which to be fair, round out my top 3 albums of the band.) In no way diminishing those albums, but a deft hand sometimes resembles one without skill.

it is always the bends :)

Correct

>you can bring it home straight from school
>you can kiss it you can break all the rules

what did thomas york mean by this

does yorke hate it or is that an urban legend?

The only rock album they ever made

he went to an all boys school...

he only really hates pablo honey, he just doesn't like this one as much as their other work

best radiohead, and one of the best pure rock albums ever written
also one of those rare albums where every single track is a masterpiece

It's certainly overlooked, but in rainbows

Radiohead has good tracks here and there like Pyramid Song, Paranoid Android, Exit Music, etc. but all the albums hitting these peaks have lower troughs of garbage as well. Pablo Honey's middling rock yet its' quality's consistent throughout.
