That’s what I did when I first found the site. I was just rating records in the notes on my phone before then. Then again I use the site all the time. It’s up to you if it’s worth it if you don’t use the site much but I think it’s a fantastic resource. I love being able to search my own records for ones I loved but maybe forgot about.

I tag all my ratings for records I like with the genre they are too so if I ever want to listen to a specific genre I can search that and I’ll find an album I loved years ago that I totally forgot about and relisten. It’s nice

I really don’t understand why anyone would dedicate the amount of time needed to be able to accurately rate an album if they don’t actually enjoy it.

i dont understand why people rate albums if they dont make full use of the rating system.

just put all albums as 9 or 10 lol why bother using your brain and i have no idea what your opinion is because everything seems amazing to you guys like ??? no 7 isnt ”meh” wtf your curve lacks information and tells me nothing.

ur curve should ideally peak at 5 which is ”good” you dont need 8 rating to tell me how bad something if u refuse to explore and sit through ”boring albums” then dont and adjust ur system ffs

also people who worship like 3 bands and blindly put their entire discography including their compilations singles dupes and their
