If these guys were CIA funded/ created to promote hedonism way back when, then is it safe to assume that modern rap music is being funded to do the same as well? The promotion of hedonism, violence, etc. is 100 times more strong & blatant in any modern rap song than anything The Doors ever put out, & it seems like rappers always manage to avoid jail time or get very light punishment time after time despite their criminal record. For reference I am 23 & enjoy this kind of music myself but the impact it has had on people my age & younger is undeniable (dialect, fashion, drug usage, lifestyle etc.).

Of course. If you look at the progression of popular music since the beginning of the past century up to now, it has gotten increasingly more degenerate over time. The pattern is very clear to see. Popular music now openly celebrates vice, violence, arrogance, excess, recklessness, etc.
Now, one might cite artistic expression to defend this music's right to exist. And I agree with that. I don't think that it should be prohibited from existing. But should this be the music receiving the heaviest marketing and promotion? Should this be the mainstream? Absolutely not. The fact that it is reveals a clear malicious intent by the music industry. They are actively aiming at degenerating the population.

There's no evidence in this thread so far, I know, but it's pointless most of the time. The close minded have already decided they're right, end of story. Also I know it wasn't you who posted it, but pointing out anyway: the CIA is not interested in spreading hedonism because they like it. Quite the opposite, really. Many are too naive or ignorant to understand that one of the most effective strategies at defeating your enemy from within is intentionally NOT practicing what you preach. They didn't like that these wild hippie kids were getting too unruly and forming grass roots anti-establishment movements, so they propped up all the big bands from LA to distract them from war so they could think more about getting lots of drugs in them and fucking instead. The same general premise applies to gangsta rap as a government op, though Dave McGowan never got to fully expand on this before he died.
