I'm not a huge fan of NIN. I will say this: With Teeth is fucking AWFUL and I don't get why faggots rate it so highly compared to the 90s output. Year Zero is underrated.

Ghosts is the best overall album because NIN lyrics are generally pretty cringe and it doesn't have any. That said there's definitely some really great stuff to be found in that discography but I would never really listen to any album in it's entirety, too much filler and too much cringe lyricism

Hesitation Marks is one of the best records Trent made, people dislike it just because Trent doesn't try to be edgy or make things loud. Anyone with a brain can see it is one of his most interesting works

production wise, year zero is great. it has some of his most interesting production since the 90s and pushed into new territory for his sound. he does really well with electronic type beats that groove hard and make you bop your head.
the concept, however, is stupid as fuck.
easily my least favorite album simply because the stupid ass 'george bush is going to destroy the world' story
