Interesting. There are actually neurological studies showing how people react to different types of music differently, and what draws certain people to certain genres. They actually discovered that classical music and metal work in the brain basically the same way - it's highly emotive, and basically about big, sweeping, elongated builds, dramatic movements, etc.
