Now is your chance to force Any Forums to listen to that shit and to crown the best of these unknown releases. The purpose of this tournament is to encourage discovery of artists and albums that stray from the beaten path and create interest in exploring similar genres. This tournament will be broken down in the first round to give ample time to listen to the albums RULES >All nominations must have less then 100 RYM ratings at the time of nomination. The album does not have to be on RYM to be nominated, but I will be checking your album release to see if it's on there if you say it doesn't exist >Band cannot have a release over 250 ratings >One album max per artist. However, you can nominate more then one release per artist, but only one would make the actual bracket >I have the right to deny nominations >The 16 releases with the most votes make it in to the bracket

I personally love this album a lot and I think if more people knew about it they would too. I could go on about it but I hope the music speaks for itself. Definitely worth a listen and your time.

Ok when we did this shit back then my album followed all the rules, but I'm saddened to say Ilegales' debut currently has 301 ratings so I can't nominate Todos están muertos, whatever, in a similar vein: >Nueva Vulcano - Juego Entrópico (2005) >rateyourmusic.com/release/album/nueva_vulcano/juego_entropico/ A really cool and underappreciated band, they enjoyed some Primavera Sound Indie buzz in the 00's but Spanish Post-hardcore is a very niche scene. Just like other Spanish (specially Catalonian) ph albums the songwriting is rather energetic and melodic than intense and very mellow and Indie-like instead of the expected ph screaming and heavy riffing, Old-school Emo without the whiny vocals, Sonic Youth without the wankery and absence of a pop structure, Number Girl without Japanese lyrics(?). Really fantastic stuff, a true cult-classic in the genre, a sound simultaneously familiar and unique with some seriously powerful musical sections. In a scene with other similar bands like Standstill, Betunizer or Cala Vento, Nueva Vulcano managed to write this totally unpretentious masterpiece, just a bunch of lads playing some really good songs.
