Everything was better in the 80s; cocaine, cars, women. The list goes on

Yeah but most people think 90s death metal bands were better. Because it was when death metal fully developed as a style.

stupid fucker

Metal peaked in the 80s and has only declined since then.

Something something rose-tinted nostalgia glass. Same old shit.

I just finished watching top gun and just found out giorgio moroder was the main writer for the soundtrack. Man those songs are good. I feel like hype marketing techniques and the media was using them at full force. When i watch movies made in the 80's i'm hyped as fuck.

it was wilder for sure. bands figuring out new stuff and not just uber refining the established game

>Same old shit

Death metal peaked in the 90s

Mogged by late 60s-early 70s

No

you made a rookie mistake, that's not death metal that's TRASH metal

it's doom jam sloodge metal

it has a death metal production. drums and bass are purposefully thin because who needs that rap shit in their metal?

Altars of Madness was released in the 80s and that automatically makes the 80s metal better than 90s metal (and i love 90s metal thou)
