Band shirts: profound social statement or a sign of insecurity?
Band shirts: profound social statement or a sign of insecurity?
neither
Neither.
Some of them look cool and that's it.
that shirt would look cool if the person wearing it was decent looking
anything an unattractive basedboy does is gonna look lame
dont see anything wrong with band t shirts inherently tho desu, it is a little lame seeing vapid white girls wearing metallica shirts but ultimately it's just clothing
It's advertising. Literal advertising and social advertising. Probably not the main reason, but it's one of the reason's society is so shitty today. The graphic t-shirt killed free thinking.
It just looks cool
OP will never be happy overthinking things like this.
>The graphic t-shirt killed free thinking.
you meant this sincerely lmao haha
>autism
it's just a t-shirt, who cares
I love them
It's just one stage of the downhill snowball that is having your identity shaped by your possessions rather than your life experience.
isn't music part of your life experience
what's wrong with advertising/supporting something you love, buying the tee itself supports the band (afaik usually more than a cd does since the profit isn't split as much with label/manufacturing etc) and maybe they'll get a new listener here and there
meds, take them
>this is what Any Forums inspires to be
I think they are nice for casual wear and some of them have pretty cool designs
You're all of this. All of it. Always.
I believe in karma and "what goes around, comes around" bizarrely, as otherwise I'm an atheist. I wear the shirts of and support the bands I like because I hope that people will do the same for my band. Simple as.
I've been to so many gigs and parties that prohibi t Burzum t-shirts.
half of my shirts are band tees, wearing a lightning bolt shirt rn
a
the older you are, the worse they look on you.
