Vocals is just one part of singing. The emotion, sincerity, and style all play another less quantifiable role. But the OP was about vocalists, and Elvis is not particularly exceptional among other music legends.

yeah that list ain't it, Mariah is an overrate vocalist and I adore Stevie but he ain't even close to the top 3. Freddie is a good shout, but even then he still ain't beating anyone in that top 3. You also forget the versatility of those top 3 singers whereas others you've are very one dimensional.
