watersbros got too cocky

When Roger Waters decided he was Pink Floyd. It started with Animals.

Based. Animals is absurdly overrated.

No Richard Wright.

Stuff from the cutting room floor of The Wall.

Hell, the album says it's a requiem for the post war dream by Roger Waters, performed by Pink Floyd.

Wish You Were Here is the last great Floyd album.

This. They should have disbanded after Wish You Were Here. After that album we got three albums of Roger the tyrant and then it was Pink Floyd the corporate rock band.

Its actually underrated

after they released this, their best album, and Roger left taking all of their creativity with them

>after they released this, their best album
AMLOR and dB are fantastic albums if you can turn off your Roger fanboy-ism

>Roger left taking all of their creativity with them
look me in the eyes and tell me all the trite filler garbage on Pros/Cons, K.A.O.S., Amused, Peaceful Refugees is anything close to resembling "creative" it's all utter shit. Each album has MAYBE 4 good songs on it, maximum. Pros/Cons is his best solo work, and the entire middle of the album basically sucks ass. K.A.O.S. is only good for the extended version, but it insists on itself so shamelessly that it almost borderlines self-fetishizing having a dead dad and the prospect of WWIII. Amused to death has like 4 good songs. All albums after Amused are garbage. Also, all his solo "concept" albums had weak, shitty, paper-thin concepts and storylines. Weak shit. He needed Gilmour as much as Gilmour needed him. Suck my nut through my asshole.
