meddle is good but I think dsotm, wywh and animals was pink floyd at their best, meddle was when they found their sound but I wouldn't rate it a 10/10 like the aformentioned 3, around an 8 or 9

I really like Meddle. As you said, the found their sound but I like it precisely because of that, I really like the pre-DSOTM albums, it has the perfect blend of the serious Floyd, the scary Floyd who would scream in Careful with that Axe and the Floyd who just wants to sing silly songs.
From how it starst to how it ends... Damn, it's just a great album.
