What's you guys' opinion on them, they've certainly been influencing the synth industustry, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

they to small for my banana fingerz
sorry to hear about that, user. They work great with midi keyboards.
They good but you gonna be in that ecosystem that will put you at big synth money. Just something to consider.
they're an essential part of my mobile studio. in 2-3 small bags that can be carry on for airplane travel. everything I need to record a studio-quality album anywhere in the world. a few new pieces have made it into my mobile rig, but it's mostly the same
>wish Korg would put out new firmware updates to increase functionality
>wish there was a more lively modding community around them
>wish their sampling unit wasn't shit (had to buy a Yamaha SU10 for high quality sampling on the go)
i buy a volca sample 2 and its good 4 the price
I got a volca sample, doesn't really bode well for music outside of the 4/4 time signature. Or maybe i just don't know how to fully use it yet.
there's way better samplers out there that will still integrate with the volcas (tempo/sync-wise)
KeK
Imaging having someone show up to work with you and empty this trash out of his bag saying "studio quality album"
how do i imaging
I'm sure there is. It was a gift, and i'm basically just using it as a drum machine loaded with indian drum samples.
I have the korg monotron delay and duo
they're fun for $100 for both
Choosing the micro guitar amps is an interesting addition. What does the thin black pedal do?
That's a real cool idea.
I just want a sub phatty so bad, bros.
Why not just do this digitally
I have the Volca Beats
it's pretty nice actually, I just use it as a personal drummer for when I play guitar, or sometimes I run it through all my effect pedals to make weird sounds with it.
The only problem is the snare is really weak. It sounds super old school, pre-808 type snare.
I got the keys and beats for Christmas. I'm a pianist and I got a pretty good grasp on drums and sound synthesis using them but quickly made the conscious decision to not become a gearcuck so I downloaded a DAW and started using digital synths instead. Wouldn't have done it without the volcas, so even though I feel like I outgrew them in just a few weeks they definitely got my feet wet with electronic music and I may still bust out the keys and try to record with it eventually. The beats' drum sounds are butt tho.

Some loops I still had in the memory bank

Something I wrote a few weeks later once I'd learned the DAW a bit. Im more of a songwriter than a beatmaker so the volcas are a little limited for me but they were definitely a great learning tool
I can't get into making music on my PC. I just use it for mixing and that's it.
also I can only play guitar and sing, PC is best for piano players.
Also I like having my effects be physical objects I can turn the knobs with my hands and use a looper etc. I know a lot of guitar guys use PC only now, lots of them don't even own amps.
Just do what the retard with the bag of trash did, he's never once recorded a note of music anybody wanted to voluntarily listened to or met someone who has.
