Favorite vaporwavemaster1 release?

With vaporwavemaster1 being in the vaporwave production scene for over a decade, it's inevitable that his albums have a lot of tonal shifts and different themes built into them. From what I've heard most people consider Floppy Parameters 96 to be his best work to date. I don't really understand this, though. I've always had a soft spot for his Java Birds album. So the choices here are basically his whole discography. Which of the releases below would you say is your favorite, and why?

1. Forgotten Streets

I think Floppy Parameters' popularity is in part due to its variety. It's not really a concept album like Night Mall or Java Birds are.

I gotta say Night Mall. It's the one that first got me interested in his work. When it broke onto the scene, there had really been nothing like it up to that point. it's the forefather of dark mallsoft.

Fuck off and leave this place shill. You are pathetic garbage and I will never listen

fuck off nigger

You're not fooling anyone with that photoshopped poster count. Go listen to Death's Dynamic Shroud or some normie shit

I know some of you are going to disagree with me on this, but I would actually have to say "Neuwerk NX Ten Zero." It's not only his most complex work to date, it also has some genuinely enjoyable moments. If you're able to get around the long running time, I would really suggest listening to it in full. Once you arrive at the end, it's like someone else's entire life has flashed before your eyes.

No way in Hell, it's got to be Floppy Parameters 96.

I think most people are drawn to Floppy Parameters 96 because it manages to stick in your head. I would say "Cyberspace Portal" and "Blue Angels" are the songs that I remember the most from Floppy Parameters the first time I listened to it. It also has a kind of storyline hidden inside it which you can pick up on if you listen carefully. It's also heavy on atmosphere, which is something I don't think any of vaporwavemaster's other albums focus on to such an extent. Even Neuwerk is unable to replicate the feeling of detachment you get with Floppy Parameters.

I think Java Birds is a pretty decent album. Underrated for sure. It marks a transition point in the vaporwavemaster1 lineup which goes from sentimentality to actual analysis of the ways in which time functions.

Certainly underrated and overlooked, though not my favorite.

this is hilarious. 'each poster' writes with the same awkward affectation about an artist that has literally only been mentioned on mu once before in the exact same hollow diction directed at virtually anyone and ultimately no one (but trolls).

now i personally have no real issue with shills, at least if its the actual artist making the music, but this just has to be called out. go over to the vocaroo thread where people are actively listening to eachother and reviewing what they heard.
what kind of audience of fools are you trying to cultivate here? give yourself and us more respect!

Look on the Any Forums archives. He actually has a pretty big cult following around here

Wow, good to see vaporwavemaster1 getting credit for Floppy Parameters all the way back in October. It created quite the splash in the vapor scene upon its initial release

AND BGM? Man, that user had some taste to put those in their top 3 picks along with Kid Amnesia (Ultimately, though, I think Kid Amnesia was kind of a disappointment, didn't really live up to the hype)

I agree that part of Floppy's appeal are its themes about nostalgia and the slow unyielding passage of time. Thank you for sharing this screenshot, it reflects my sentiments exactly

>it reflects my sentiments exactly
of course it does

OP have you by any chance found any mystery tapes recently? This shameless shilling style is recognizable

It sure does. I think vaporwavemaster1 does the same kind of thing on Floppy Parameters 96 that The Caretaker does on "everywhere At The End Of Time-" he examines the intricacies of time, the forgotten summer afternoons and the long, poignant lapses in memory which contribute to the human experience, albeit in a much more effective manner than Leyland Kirby could ever hope to do
