he should put a gun to his head and delete his fucking brain

of what?

thank you for doing this

well done.

who is this guy? ive been lurking on and off on here for about almost 5 years at this point and i see him come up now and again. whats his story exactly? all i know is that hes a music reviewer and kind of a chud

my man is really mentally ill

He's a spastic retard. Nothing new.

He was one of the original Pitchfork writing staff in the late 90s, he left in the mid 2000s due to disagreements with Ryan Schreiber about advertising and the direction he wanted to take the site. He made a series of videos about 10 years ago where he discussed various topics related to alternative music and his involvement in the scene, many of which he shit talks Pitchfork and music journalists in general. He got into a twitter beef with Schreiber in 2015 when Conde Nast purchased the site, where he threatened takedowns of his content, to which Pitchfork nuked every mention of him, to the point where his 2002 AOTY blurb for Turn on the Bright Lights simply reads "[text not available]".
After that I guess he got embarrassed being seen as a curmudgeonly ex-music journalist so he deleted all his shit online, where he's remerged several times to post more content, he did a series of livestreams in 2020 which was pretty amusing, which stopped after he had a breakdown watching a documentary about a New York music retail store Other Music where he decried people who seek to solely base their identity around music. Since then after deleting all his content again he's done a few hour long deep dives into The Cure's discography

apparently his life is completely falling apart. became an alcoholic during covid and wife has moved out and is filing charges after finding nude pictures he had taken of their kids.

CC I still love you dawg but you are out of your godam mind

why i Ott a

Proof?

umm WHAT

Thanks for sending. I didn't hear the last two episodes he did about The Cure until tonight. He really should do more videos like these talking about specific band's individual albums. He's excellent at telling a stories and documenting the history behind certain bands or albums or music scenes.

HOLY FUCK SOURCE?

that was an interesting read and thank you for the insightful response user
