bottom half is honestly quite hard to rank because i think stuff like the latter ghosts arguably shouldve been released as trent reznor/atticus ross score material, and whilst i enjoy the ep trilogy quite a bit the sheer brevity of the material makes it hard to stack up compared to the heavyweight albums.
depending how i feel on certain albums this list could look totally different in spots, but imo the fragile, the downward spiral, and year zero are far away the most ambitious records the band have put out amongst a catalog that is otherwise still very consistent and sonically diverse. forgot to add it but still would be somewhere in the top half also.
Bad Witch is shit lmao, the worst thing Trent has put out aside from Not the Actual Events.

I like NIN but I haven't listened to everything, so to put it simply:

Where did this meme that Trent is a reformed man and no longer acts like a dick come from? He's told people to slit their wrists on twitter years ago before and he was quick to attack Marilyn Manson when people started talking about the passage in MM's book that says he and Trent raped some women. I think Trent has some skeletons in his closet and threw Manson under the bus to save himself.
