I am maybe trying to do some little stats project (well it's not all that sophisticated per se) about artists on melon and their engagement when it comes to the number of streams.
I'll have to manually look at certain songs, i'll be only choosing songs of 2021 for this, and will basically do a streams per unique listener type of analysis.
This isn't perfect and if anyone has some input on the metric itself (i'm mainly choosing it because it seems to be decent and easily available) then i am all ears (also about what other metrics would be interesting to make more sense of the data), but what i wonder the most is something different.
What songs should i look into? I'll obviously go for big hits of 2021, but i'm also interested in songs which maybe didn't chart all that well, specifically because i'd want some comparisons to songs one would assume get 'mass streamed' by fans. So i'd be interested in what songs and artists you think i should look into for this to be somewhat meaningful, thanks!

edit: it would be great if you could include some thoughts and reason to potential replies as well, makes it easier, just posting a list i cannot be entirely sure what the idea is in particular.
