Not that guy but Basic Channel literally has thousands of votes on RYM and these scores, at least by electronic standards, are pretty gud. Two bolded EPs. Honestly I think you two are trying too hard here, Basic Channel isn't some obscure electronic act, they're pretty well known even if they're not discussed on places like Any Forums all that often. It's also not very hard or challenging music to 'get' so gatekeeping them is pretty silly. Good tunes, but you're taking this too seriously. Go outside and get some air.
