Are there any albums in an artist's discography that have eerily similar sequencing, like picrel?
>le loud, high energy jam >le alleviating, yet dark, ethereal number that dips in energy. (repeated listens reveal it to be the strongest track) >le mediocre centerpiece >le live improv >le epic track
ride the lightning/master of puppets >acoustic intro into balls out Thrasher >title song >mid paced slightly doomy song >power ballad into another Thrasher >epic instrumental near the end
Jonathan Moore

Joshua Williams
it also has very similar sequencing, yes, but the sequencing in red & itcotck are virtually identical. song length ratio, amount of tracks, everything mainly theres no long improv track and theres a different amount of tracks on itwop. also, itwop was conceived to being very similar in feeling to itcotck and even has a lot of the leftovers. the similarities in itcotck are more subtle and coincidental, making it much more eerie
Austin Thomas
Anyone else feel King Crimson would of also been an appropriate choice for the Quake soundtrack? Red especially gives off Quake vibes.
