Been playing guitar for 21 years. 6 or 7 of those years I was super depressed and rarely played, but the last 3 years I've broken off the rust and then some. Not trying to sound like I'm bragging, just kind of proud of myself because guitar had been a huge part of my life for so long that seeing myself drift away from it really sucked. Spent 2021 playing lead guitar in a mediocre metalcore band and now I'm making progressive metal in my bedroom lol.
