Would Intel UHD Graphics 770 suffice if I were to build? I.e. I could wait on buying a gpu. My use case is ordinary shit.

Yes.

Thanks

need more 13700T leak. this shit is too good to be real don't you think?

Repostin'
Workstation, no gaming, just need display slots

Under ideal conditions maybe.
It's probably a really good laptop with good thermals.

What kinda work?

I posted a few days ago about my monitor having "no signal" after setting it up after a move. I took the tower to a shop and it worked fine for him, but I'm still getting the same no signal problem when I got it back. Tried another monitor and HDMI cable and it still doesn't work. I hate this.

Help me out Any Forums bros. 6950xt or 3080ti? 1440 mainly.

I play both multiplayer FPS, and single player with RT support. This is where I'm at a quandry. If it's just FPS I know the 6950 is the better card. But with RT, the 3080ti beats it.

Another OP vandalized with dumb recommandations.
>Multicore: i7 12700/F
Slower than 12700K, which is also slower than 5900X, depending on country 5900X can be cheaper than 12700K and closer to 12700's price while providing better performance.
>Budget 1080p: Used GTX 1660 Super
As if 1660 is the only used card that can be had for a fair price.
>RECOMMENDED RAM
>2x 8GB DDR4 3200/3600 CL16
No mention of 2x 16GB despite being barely more expensive.

What the budget?

Bro. Did you reseat the gpu? It probably got fixed when you took it to the shop then got fucked up again when you carried it back. It's literally that simple.

6900xt for 699 assuming you're in the US. But it really depends on your budget and system. I was able to get an undervolt and oc on my 6900xt. Feels good.

I did. As far as I know, the guy didn't even open it up. He said it booted right up.

Graphic and audio design , nothing very intensive but I'm sick of my laptop

To be honest for GPU I would recommend getting a second hand RTX 2070s, unless you absolutely need perfect ray tracing.

Where the hell are the cheap GPUs? Cryptomining is dead, they ought to be flooding the market right now.

In my opinion the 3080 12GB is the best option. Basically 3080 Ti performance in all but the name. For RT, obviously an RTX is basically a no brainer, and multiplayer games are on a case by case basis between the two. Often the CPU or the monitor is the limit before the graphics card. Additionally, some people who play e.g., Warzone report problems with frametimes when using Radeon. If you look at what the pros use, it's all Geforce, probably at least partially for reasons like that.

>Multicore
Your benchmark doesn't show multicore scaling and it's an aggregate filled with synthetics. For a representative comparison of the multicore performance and power consumption of the 12700F and the 5900X, see >No mention of 2x 16GB despite being barely more expensive.
I have been thinking about adding 2x 16GB, but it's only DDR4. I think most people won't need it, and if they do, they can just pick up another 2x 8GB, and then they'll have 4x 8GB which RAM snobs recommend. Obviously other OPs can do what they want but I'll stick to 2x 8GB for now

>As if 1660 is the only used card that can be had for a fair price.
It's the Super. A 1070, which is similar performance, can be a little cheaper, but it's also older and consumes more power, and therefore likely to be louder or die sooner. Otherwise I don't really see any other good options, because if you go up in price much more you get into RX 6600 territory.

I used to recommend the RX 6500 XT for use in new systems with PCIe 4.0, but I'm concerned about its memory management. I know that there are a lot of anons who can easily work around those problems, but at the same time it's hard to recommend products with such large caveats

two more weeks

up to $800 for the GPU (i've seen them both around that price with deals/open boxes)

are you plugging the hdmi cable into the gpu and not the mobo?
did you try a different hdmi cable?

I have an i7 9700k, would it be worth it to find and buy a used i9 9900ks?

Yeah the gaming OC 3080ti is $799 after rebate on newegg. Things are still likely to keep going down in price, but regardless I'd buy the 3080ti

This isn't really /pcbg/, but I'm looking for a small laptop for my business. It's basically going to sit on a counter and look good for the most part. Can someone recommend a laptop that looks decent, has an ips fhd or better screen, and at least 8gb of ram?

Maybe if you can get it really cheap.
