So, I cussed out a cop today, and I want your opinion as to whether I was right or wrong.
Recently, my GF and I bought a new stove. We posted our old one on Facebook Market to sell. We were pulling into our apartment complex when we received a text from someone who was in desperate need of a stove.
We parked her car as she was texting the potential buyer and noticed a bunch of stuff thrown across the parking lot as we got out of the car. Around that same time we notice an older couple leaving the pool and walking to our building and a black kid (probably early 20s) walking up and picking the stuff up.
Being nosey, we ask what's going on, and why his stuff is all over the parking lot. That is when we learn that the black kid was just robbed at gunpoint by someone he was meeting off of Facebook Market to sell something to.
Hearing this I decided that I want to bring both of my guns with us (one for me, and one for the GF). 1 gun is in my car, one gun is in my truck (which we need to take to deliver the stove) and my keys are in the apartment.
My GF drags her feet going into the apartment because she can't believe a robbery just took place in front of our building, literally seconds before we pulled up. I tell her to hurry up because (for obvious reasons) I want to move my gun from my car to my truck before the police show up.
Well, as luck would have it, as we come back outside, the police are already there and they are parked right next to my car. Now, I'm not stupid enough to pull a gun out next to 3 police officers who are responding to an armed robbery call. So, I walk up to the police and this was our interaction:
You should really write this all out in a word document or something, then copy/paste it as the character limit allows. I'm not waiting here for part 2.
Leo Phillips
Me: Excuse me, officer, I need to move my gun from my car (pointing at the car right next to him) and move it to my truck.
Cop in an asshole tone: Do you have a concealed carry permit?
Me looking confused: Do I need one? (looking at the cop like he is a moron)
Cop still being an asshole with is tone: You cant open carry without a concealed carry permit in this state!
Me very annoyed at this point: I'm moving my gun from this car (pointing at my car right next to him) to that truck (pointing at a truck 3 spaces away). YOU NEED TO STOP BEING AN ASSHOLE!
The cop was kind of surprised at this point being called out for being on his power trip. And I knew damn well I was within my rights because the parking lot is private property. I also knew he was way in the wrong. So I open my door and grab my gun to move it over to my truck.
At this point another officer gets out of his car and walks over in time to see me tell the cop he needs to stop being an asshole. The asshole cop then tries to tell me "you need to stop obstructing my investigation" trying to egg me further into a confrontation with him.
I just ignored him as I walk over to my truck with my gun in my hand.
All the officers watch me as I get in my truck and drive away. None of them have to balls to try and infringe on my rights any further a go back to their armed robbery case that they were called to in the first place.

So, my question to you is:
Am I in the wrong? Should I be a Karren and report this power-tripping officer to his department.
This whole thing really rubbed me the wrong way, and this cop clearly doesn't understand the law if he thinks I need a concealed carry permit to move my gun from my own property to my own property 15 feet away.
I was trying to do the right thing by warning them about what I was doing so that they didn't shoot me on the spot when I pulled out a gun right next to them.
David Martinez
Neither. You're just a moron.
Daniel Rodriguez
bro this isn't reddit im not reading all that shit just to make fun of you.
How does their presence on my property interfere with my rights?
Jeremiah Rogers
Dude, those cops could have and should have shot you down in a hail of bullets and pissed on your corpse then railed your girlfriend.
Are you fucking stupid? You weren't wrong legally, maybe, but are you fuxmckubg dumb for tempting fate.
You're also clearly white as fuck

The police are not your friends. They are the fist of the billionaire oligarchs and their "duties" involve maintaining stability in the system which makes and keeps rich old white men rich. They do not give a rancid fuck about you, your guns, your rights, the constitution, the laws, or your existence in general. Anything you do which interferes in their job of keeping things calm and normalized for the rich sociopathic cunts who rule us will incite a response ranging from annoyed to homicidal.
Just assume police are angry, stupid, totally irrational maniacs who have a legal right to execute anyone they like. Stay out of their way, even if it means inconveniencing yourself. You do not live in a free society. You are a slave, and you can be murdered by the police if they feel like it, and if you annoy them, they will feel like it.
>. While overall I agree with you when it comes to the monolith of what the police do. However, I know and am friends with a lot of cops. The people behind the badge are just that, people. But there are assholes like the one I ran into today, that make cops look bad.

Not an idea I invented, nor is it a recent notion.
"The police and army are there to keep a brake on the people and assure the landowners' tranquility. But if they have guns and cannons, there's no reason why we have to fight empty handed. We know how to use guns too, and can get hold of them with astuteness and courage." -- Errico Malatesta
You must be a child. Just because something should be doesn't mean it is.

Go back to pol and fucking stay there.

The police are class enemies. It doesn't matter how kind, decent, honest, intelligent, and/or sincere they are as individuals. Their role is and always has been to maintain the machine which grinds human beings into a shape which serves the interest of the rich white men who rule us.
I remember being at a protest in the late 90s, and was hanging out listening to a speech near the police lines. I ended up chatting to one of the cops there, and he was griping to me about how he was just a normal guy like me, and how everyone was treating him like some kind of monster.
I asked him what he would do if he got a direct order right this second from his commanding officer to draw his gun and open fire on me and the crowd. He looked uncomfortable and paused, then said, "I would be very angry at the people for forcing them to give that order."
Cops are only good AFTER a crime has been committed and the criminals are long gone.
Nathan Perry
If Joe Biden's unconstitutional vaccine mandates taught us anything. It taught us that half of the individuals will follow the orders you just said, and the other half will disobey them.
I don't look at the individual as a monster until they give me a reason to.
Camden Reyes
Get a jab, you mouth-breathing plague rat imbecile. It shouldn't be necessary for the State to tell you not to spread the fucking plague to other people during a worldwide pandemic. Moron.
Nicholas Roberts
>serves the interest of the rich white men who rule us. pretty much, but they also deal with black people for us
Jeremiah Harris
My body my choice, commie.
Bentley Ortiz
>it's okay the police are violent, stupid, oppressive goons because they are also bigots
Sometimes I forget I'm surrounded by fucking morons here.
Why on earth would I get a jab that destroys my natural immunity that is 40x more effective than the vaccine and lasts way longer than 45 days?

I don't give a rat's ass what you do with your body, you slope-skulled cretin, just as long as you're not breathing plague on me. So either get the fucking jab or don't fucking breathe. I think the latter should be arranged for you id you can't manage the former. No great loss, I'm sure.
Cameron Smith
Right, I swear 80% of the people here are certified autistic freaks that can't function in society.
Ian Long
Your making a good case for your own un-aliving event.
Zachary Edwards
You weren't technically wrong but you are a fucking idiot.
It's best not to confront the police unless you absolutely had to. You should have just waited, dipshit.
