retard

NVIDIA drivers are proprietary, schizo.

you shouldn't be allowed to touch computer nigger

tl;dr

He is referencing FreeBSD, you retard.

It's just a delay. nVIDIA engineers prefer to run FreeBSD, so the driver is developed mainly on FreeBSD, so that gets the first release. The codebase is very portable, so it doesn't take long to get the Solaris and GNU/Linux versions out the door too.

>so it doesn't take long to get the Solaris
solaris driver is still on 375.82 (released in 2017)

>Linux bros...... is our kernel dead?
amdgpu gets updates almost every single day, what do you mean?

>Linux bros...... is our kernel dead?
What the fuck are you talking about? The Nvidia driver isn’t in the kernel tree

And still doesn't work properly, drops supported architectures left and right.

Works on my machine.

Wait, Nvidia makes drivers for FreeBSD? Didn't they get the memo that *BSD is dead?

Good for you, you rolled a working configuration.
Their driver is so portable that support is basically free for *BSD and Solaris. Even the control panel, something which AMD and Intel lack even on Loonix.

>Good for you, you rolled a working configuration
Which is better than could be said for any NVIDIA config.

Never had a problem with them. Just don't use a shit distro which doesn't handle it.

Werks on my machine
fuck nvidia

And I've never had a problem with amdgpu, so we're even. As long as you use a Jensen-approved distro of course.

i will never unsee the obese lard ass in the arch logo
