im genuinely curious about these things, but will not spend 1k~ to find out

I checked the sources, it's true

It's a fucking disaster, the battery life is only 3 hours, go look at the reviews for this thing.

the official Any Forums laptop and an actually repairable laptop is an x200 or a T420
framework is modern garbage that cannot run a free initialization program nor can it run a free operating system well
it’s greatest feature is that it integrates fucking dongles into the laptop. the absolute state

I've heard 5-8 hours depending on brightness from the reviews I've looked at.

The official Any Forums laptop will be the M1 macbook when it gets mainline linux support.

how sturdy are these?

Wrong. I’m Any Forums and I fucking hate fagbooks.

if it preserves the battery life and there's no pozzed spyware baked into any of the hardware circuity I'd consider this. Is there a serious effort to get this running in a usable state?

yes, the people doing it are pretty pozzed though

>yes, the people doing it are pretty pozzed though
is the os itself pozzed or is it run by mentally ill troons?

official laptop for Any Forums is m1 mba desu

too expensive

>linus racemixing tips laptop
>the official Any Forums laptop

hahahahahahahahahahaha no

AMD version when? the intel motherboard is extremely overpriced.

>Is there a serious effort to get this running in a usable state?
kind of but they don’t even have wifi drivers or graphics drivers so it will probably either fail or be a shit experience

why did he marry such an ugly bugwoman anyway? he may be a manlet but he's loaded so he can do better

wrong. the t480/x220 are the only Any Forums laptops

some people marry for love instead of appearance. its pretty fucked up, i know

maybe its a stupid question general tier but:
Why not use a stack of regular rechargeable AA batteries instead of lithium ones?
You can service it faster by just swapping old ones for new batteries and old ones can get "recycled" easier.
I mean, plenty of electric bikes already use them

and a ching chong ding dong to you too fine lady

Are the dongles open source?
