I'll kill myself then, lole

Tech implications of working the rest of my life at McDonald

This is a blessing in disguise.
Only pajeet- and ricebot devs who can only copy, not innovate will be affected.

Someone still has to translate business logic to an actual process.
They'll automate management before technical workers.
Who else will feed the machines?

good. now you feel how it feels to be musician in year 2010+12

This is what happens when you fucks were too stupid to enforce the GPL.
>hur dur it will only automate dumbasses
>hur dur it doesn't matter that they are using GPL code to automate the people who made it out of a job
>hur dur it doesn't matter that they'll make millions off of code that infringes the license.

>enforce the GPL
>Verification not required.

GPL is useless in this case, we now need GPLv4 that forbids FOSS programs to be used to train proprietary AIs

Warned you any job that can be performed by pajeets isn't a real job. You only have yourself to blame for falling for the STEM meme. Should've gone to law school or med school like mommy and daddy advised you to.

Fuck off, copyright cultist.

>working the rest of my life at McDonald
enjoy that while it lasts

Those are not safe

>AI solves narrowly defined, encapsulated problem faster than humans
yeah tell me something new

it's called software engineering or computer science and not programming for a reason
Like there are API code generators already out for years
Someone still has to think about the problem

Is that a TWITTER SCREENSHOT?

n-no. Don't bring that meme gif, please.

cope

I'm not saying all devs jobs will disappear, just most of them.

>worried about this
>never seen microsoft's automated sql from access

>solving competitive coding from an English description
>get some SQL after defining every single meaningful aspect of it in a dedicated program

Every advance in technology is a step towards humans becoming obsolete and that is because the aliens want the planet all to themselves.

It can make small GUIs, fizzbuzzes and whatnot, but can it take a large existing codebase, learn how it works, and add features or fix bugs in it? And no matter what, someone will need to specify everything to it clearly and in a way it understands, or what comes out won't do what you wanted.

>Most job markets saturated with millennials rushing for expensive degrees in fields with no openings
>Factory jobs being phased out with automation
>Millennials are told just learn to code. It'll be the most secure job and the future
>AI one ups them whilst tradesman remain laughing it all the way to the bank.
It's funny considering barely anyone ever says they want to learn a trade. Lol

only webshitters and pytards will be made obsolete through this, its like github co pilot again
if you actually know how to program and not just copypaste from stack overflow then this wont affect you in the slightest way

The NIGGER LICENSE will solve that

So they made an AI that can pull existing solutions from github?
