Snowden Surgery

Hey guys, I just wanted to show everyone here a simple way to keep the glowies at bay. It's called the Snowden Surgery because Edward Snowden was the first to do it. I'll be performing this Snowden Surgery with pictures so stay tuned

Have you considered taking meds

does it involve chopping my penis off?

Eddy is based

first, get your ass a cheap pre-paid. Don't spend more than $50 on it because you're going to cripple it

Fucking what

The details vary with each phone, but the basic construction is pretty much the same. You need to pop the back case off

should listen to this guy

OP this is for you if you finish this thread. I don't give a fuck if it's good or not.

I have one but I bought it with my own credit card with my real name from my real employer using my real identity.

go on...

Once it's off, take out the battery and be careful not to pierce it! A pierced battery reacts explosively with oxygen, causing a bunch of heat and a bunch of toxic fumes

No, I believe the first people to think of that were the jews

So take out the microphone and camera already it's not that big of a deal.

This one was built to be taken off, some fuckers will glue it in there so you need to be extra careful (probably do it outside just to be safe)

thanks for your dox OP

baby steps.

Unscrew all the little screws and you can pop the little case off and expose the motherboard. A lot of prepaids have simple Philips head screws so I prefer them. This one's motherboard is split into two separate boards

It's one of my many burners, dox away I'm tossing it after this anyway

see that metal piece glued to that plastic casing? That's a speaker. You can pry this out with a flathead.

If you're careful not to bend/break it, you can still use this for Arduino projects and stuff

I wish I had a better camera, but this little shit right right here is the camera in the phone

Attached: IMG_20220201_225149.jpg (1280x960, 160K)

OP you need to do this with a better quality camera, really.

They're built separately from the phone, so you can literally just pull it out without any harm to the motherboard. If you want to put it back in, you can just plug it back in

Attached: IMG_20220201_225214.jpg (1280x960, 189.25K)

dude get a light or something
this is cool btw, bumping

I know, but there are plenty of hi-res pictures online for people to do this with their own phones. I just want to show how easy it is

These little bits right here are cables, unplug them

most based thread on Any Forums in a while

now you can unscrew and disconnect the motherboard. Don't force it, they come off easy. There's always another screw, sometimes they hide them under stickers. This prepaid had more Philips head screws, easy

based thread, will archive

Now you can flip it over and get at the front-facing camera. All cameras come off just as easy, and you can plug them back in if you need to. See that metal thing in the case still? That's another speaker. Take that out also, as they can be used as microphones.

now the most important part: taking your meds

nice thread op, going to bed now, will finish watching the surgery tomorrow
keep it steady bitch

this is awesome, bumping

good thread tho

be careful when sliding it back in, making sure the cables line up where they need to go

Attached: IMG_20220201_230159.jpg (1280x960, 156.93K)

turn on the lights ya fag

same thing on other side: cables, unscrew, flip it over, remove microphone

Attached: IMG_20220201_230355.jpg (1280x960, 157.06K)

Best thread on Any Forums in a long time, good on ya OP

Imagine thinking a phone made in China sends data secretly to the FBI. You are actually this retarded

The microphone always has a hole in the case, this is how you find the microphone. This one doesn't come of as easy; it's soldered onto the board. Gouge it out with a pair of pliers

Attached: IMG_20220201_230639.jpg (1280x960, 162.81K)

here, you can see the place where it was. As I said, this is an old burner that I've already gouged
