It's not just you. The site changed something that broke how NewPipe gets info and videos. This isn't something new. When YT got rid of dislikes, it broke the comment\description section.
Just go to the video, use the button that lets you open the video in a browser, and use that.

Happened the next time I tried to trip when I took LSD. I just gave up on streaming music all together. I have home server now running mpc. The only thing that can ruin my trips is a power outage.
