thats a really stupid looking keyboard, OP

Just ordered a New Model F77 with solenoid!

>Figured out yesterday that I can't hit s + any other left hand home row key + spacebar simultaneously on my keyboard
Fuck. "Matrix that's better for gaming" my ass. Then again, the boomers at Unicomp probably still use Ctrl as their go-to jump key.

Mini M?

Yep. It's usually not an issue; I just happened to be playing Hades and wondered why I couldn't dash diagonally right.

How are DROP's TKL chassis? I'm getting some switches, and I'm looking to get a TKL chassis and some keycaps to go with them.

incredibly overpriced for plate mount stabs & no 5 pin switch support

I really like the look and sound of a Model M. Should I go for it or just go for a Model F? It seems that some of you think its superior. I only plan on buying one board and do not want to delve any more deeply into this "hobby." I don't really want to spend that much either.

The Model Ms are nice, if you're willing to live with some limitations in terms of gaming. They're also reasonably priced.
The Model Fs have advantages like n-key rollover and a different feel to the springs, but you'll probably have to do some repair work if you get a used one, and the reproduced ones are incredibly expensive. Plus you'll have to get used to the unorthodox layout.

thats what I did, but the goods ones are expensive.
be careful what you're buying since some of them need an adapter to work.
The AT model Fs are the more expensive ones since they have a pretty normal layout and work over PS/2 without any sort of adapter, unlike the XT model F which needs a special active converter and has a pretty weird layout.

XT model F
there's also the 4704 model F, but those are pretty rare

Keytron Q2 or KBD 67?

Need muh south facing LEDs for a set of caps I found on alixpress. Fucked if I can find any backlit PBT front print with a 1.75 shift though. Not sure if I will just run a smaller right shift key in it's place and or if it will look retarded.

Bros I need to get pbt modifiers because I'm retarded and didn't notice my new keeb needs smaller modifier keys on right side. I have a white cherry profile set, where can I get only modifiers for a normal price, Ali is proving tough but I did ask a few sellers if they can sell me only a set of modifiers. Chink new year though so they won't respond for like a week. Pic is the stock set for my new keeb but I bought it barebones because I already had switches.

I wish I only needed normal caps, but I have a specific look I'm going for.

You could maybe use numpad keys for now until China starts the sweat shops back up.

You want grey or blue? Your best bet would be to just get blanks and try to colour match.

These grey blanks could work.

Why do you feel the need to open carry for home defense of a 3 dollar mouse pad?

kbdfans.com/products/epbt-wuyinzhuyin?_pos=1&_psq=Wuy&_ss=e&_v=1.0

My first custom was their TKL. It was good for its time but having the plate and top of the case be the same piece of metal is really bad. I’d say get the NK87 instead.
Personally I really liked the NK65 I made for someone last year, but maybe getting a fully built Q2 would work better for you since it comes with keycaps.

I can't do standard keycaps, If I'm spending what I consider to be as lot (I know it's the tip of the iceberg) on an upgrade I want the look I want. I wish I never saw front facing backlit keycaps as there's shit loads of north facing 65% options.

>banana or beige
Gee I wonder why they're in stock....

>3 dollar
Buddy boy that's a fUnc sUrface 1030 the world's most primo first ever textured polymer gamer mousepad with cord keeper. It cost $21 in 2002 when I got it. Yeah that's right pal I was gibbing Strogg and railgunning n00bs on this bad boy when everyone else was still using fluffy grandma neoprene.

Dang man NICE!
