You’re exaggerating. Even if you fasted got 45 days straight you wouldn’t lose that much weight unless you’re very obese.

No. You'll do the fast, suffer tons of lost productivity, and when it is all over the number on the scale will be several times more misleading than a normal diet due to changes in water and muscle.

Don't listen to the idea that you will keep all your muscle while losing 30 lbs. Peter Attia exercises like a madman, and when he was doing weekly fasts every quarter for 2 years he recomped his body in the wrong direction. Muscle went way down, bodyfat% went way up, but he was eating at maintenance so he was at the same total bodyweight. You wouldn't be eating at maintenance, you wouldn't be exercising like a madman, you would be fasting for longer periods at time, and you won't have millions of dollars to make the whole process easier and more comfortable.

It worked for me.

It works, I've done several 5-6 day fasts. That being said, I stopped and don't generally recommend.

And that last one is what did it for me. Got checked out and my metabolism had dropped. If you do these I wouldn't recommend more than 2 a year. My specialist then put me on just a normal diet, 3 meals a day, balanced macros, caloric deficit (although they had me eating above maintenance at the start to get my metabolism back). It worked, plus I kept all my gains, plus I could still be a functioning person in the world. Turns out I was just being impatient lol

Do intermittent fasting. Two meals a day aka skipping breakfast is enough for anyone to lose weight.
If you really need to lose it quickly then one meal a day

Yea just do a quick 48hr fast over a weekend and see how you feel. Unironically my skin acne cleared up my first time, no idea about psoriasis.

While I was obviously exaggerating, the amount of muscle loss from weight loss is massively blown out of proportion by everyone. You really just do not lose that much muscle. Sorry, but you really just don't, especially since fasting is very muscle-sparing. I'm sick of people acting like your gonna somehow lose 10kg of muscle if you lose even just a teensy bit of fat. You won't. It's gonna be fine. The amount of muscle loss is negligeable.

No it won't, retard. Your body isn't going to break down a ton of muscle for no fucking reason, what do you think fat exists for? During a fast, when your body enters ketosis, you will break down 20-30g of protein per day to keep your brain alive. In my experience (and that of others), you can lose about 0.75-1lb of fat a day fasting (much more if you're significantly overweight), so at *worst*, you'd lose about 1lb of muscle per ~14-18lbs of fat. However, the longer a fast goes on, the more your body will conserve that protein, so in actuality, the amount of muscle lost is going to be lower than that. Moreover, your body will also source its protein requirements, in part, through autophagy, so the actual muscle loss is even lower. Now, if you had a lot of muscle to begin with (most fat people have next to none, if you do have muscle you should do a normal cut instead), or you were very low in body fat (i.e. you shouldn't be fasting anyway), then the muscle loss will be much higher.

Kek, I do 5-7 day fasts all the time and I do an hour of cardio 5 times a week

Not him and I think fasting is great, but fasting can definitely cause a large reduction in lean mass. Although you can also easily gain it back again. Building "new" muscle is way harder.

I guess it's differs for everyone.
During long fasts I feel incredibly energetic and focused, plus immense boredom basically forces you to exercise more
