How should you feel after you leave the gym?

I recently started 531BBB and even though I sweat my dick off during the workouts and do some extra stuff beyond what Lord Wendler recommends, I feel like I have a lot left in the tank when I walk out the door. It hasn't even been 2 hours but I already want to get back in there for the next lift. I calculated my lifts/training max according to Wendler's wishes.
OTOH I used to do a self-programmed PPL, and felt exhausted when I walked out the door and for a good bit after I got home, I wouldn't feel ready to go again until well into the next day when it was almost gym time.
Which is better?

Homy shit I’m on day10 of nofap your picrel almost made me bust

what the fuck is your goal

increase lifts, look better, what else

so 531 is better for strength, ppl for hypertrophy

For me, it's PaP1LPbP2
>Pa - OHP Strength, OHP hyper/volume
>Pb - Bench Strength, Bench hyper/volume
>Leg (squats, whatever)
>P1 - Deadlift strength, Pullup volume
>P2 - RDL / Tbar Hypertrophy, Weighted Pullup Strength
And on the "Strength" I follow a 5/3/1 pattern.

Why did I have dirty thoughts when I first saw OP's pic.

Not like you beat yourself into the ground. But you should feel at least somewhat sore in the muscles you hit. But not so sore that it carries into your next session

same

Do the last set til failure on each compound

spread legs

I'm new to lifting, I'm doing 2hrs a day, 5 days a week.

I feel pretty similar after workouts. I think it's just a sign that I'm eating enough to regenerate my tissue. I only ever felt completely gassed back when I'd try to work out on a less than sufficient diet.

Also, Something that increases recovery AND makes you feel exhausted after a workout is to hit the sauna for 15 minutes.

Fuckin coomers

Used to feel the same doing 5x5. I was at the parking lot feeling like going back inside, while PPL would destroy me. But I had to choose the first due to duties during the day. And I got nice gainz.
So, in the end the answer is which one gives you better results. Not about energy expenditure.

The first cycle or two should be too easy. You're doing it right.

glad i'm not the only one

For size and gains building the monolith is better but is way harder

it's probably just the way it is on 5/3/1. I feel the same but am progressing just fine.

Every thread I open I see him

you sound like you're at the start of the program. wait until like 5/6 cycles in.

DYEL that's literally 531
