Those who've had Covid tests, what was it like? Apparently there are different types. At least one is inserted very deep.

I refuse to get one because I am paranoid that they come preloaded in the little
>(((sterile)))
packages with the virus already on them so if you didnt have it before youve got it now

i feel this way about all remotely invasive medical procedures

Not quite the thread for it, ahha

The one that goes deep in your nose ain't too bad, nursey does it for you and your eyes water a little

The one that goes deep is getting a sample off of the back of your nasopharynx (near the yellow thing marked I). For that, the stick goes under the concha nasalis inferior (the thing marked c in the nasal cavity). If done correctly it barely feels like anything.
Some people doing the swabs are retards and insert it too steeply, making contact with either of the conchae (a,b,c) or the roof of the nasal cavity, all of which is painful.

the nose swab is the best, I enjoy the feeling

That's interesting, I suspect the execution might be the real problem. It gave me a massive headache. A nurse I told about it said they get it done weekly and it feels like your "brain is being pushed", which was my experience.
How do you wind a straight stick under what's marked C, anyway?

please describe in that image the angle my shotgun should aim when im trying to kill myself in a single shot

I had covid and I got dizzy. Nasty running nose and the shits which was apparently caused by a stomach flu. So it's hard to know which symptoms came from that vs covid.

What was your experience with the nasal tests?

You got to insert it parallel to the roof of your mouth. There will be some pressure to the front edge of your nostril. You can try it with a qtip.

And this is supposedly not entirely uncomfortable when done correctly?

Forgot to mention: the division between mouth and nose (palate, marked M) is far less sensitive, so you use thay as a guide.
Uncomfortable, but not painful. So you shouldn't tear up from it or get a runny nose.

I watched an old lady on a morphine drip really try and get around having another test. All the nurses were apologising profusely because it was so horrible. Why are people online saying it's not? Everyone I talked to said it is.

you express ungratitude for my contribution that amounts to a bump at the very absolute least? for shame

Most people doing them are retarded, or at least have no knowledge of anatomy. They just think "hurrdurr, stick in nose". I had to get tested a lot for school, so what I started doing was complaining if they did it wrong. After a a few times suddenly they hung a picture showing the correct location and the ratio of people doing it wrong went from ~60% to ~10%.

I've had two covid tests as I had some symptoms during the delta phase of the pandemic. I wasn't allowed to go to work unless I had the test and got the all clear. Each time it was two seconds of tickling inside my nostril with a swab that is basically a long cotton bud. 24hrs later I got a text message from the pathology company to say I was negative.

Nobody should force you to wind rods into your skull, especially not on the excuse that the people doing it just aren't trained well enough.

You're lucky. One health worker I spoke to said there are different brands. In saying that, I'm not trying another, no matter how "short" they claim this is.

This Fuck Covid and everyone that cucks for this.

PCR is usually nasal and throat swab, it's pretty benign, mild discomfort. Antigen test should be taken from the deeper areas and while not painful, it's definitely uncomfortable, but a lot of people don't bother doing it properly because the patients whine about it.
As others said, a lot of people doing the testing don't really know how to do it properly too, and then on the other hand a lot of patients start to fuck around with their head and tilt it and pull away, which again just makes it worse.
