I was depressed for many years and never cried for anything. Then the first time watching Forrest Gump the ending broke through and my eyes were a little wet. Started to happen more since then and now if something is genuinely moving I tend to cry a little. Often I use it to gauge whether or not something is actually believably emotional or it's just a "sad scene" inserted for the sake of it.

While there are for sure outliers for both aspd intelligence has little to nothing to do with it.
