nope, only took me a year
tbf i got long monkey arms

what is harder
2plates/1,5plates ohp for reps or 4pl8 deadlift?

Havent hit 4pl8 yet, I’m at 3.6pl8 in only 4 months of lifting but I was very active and athletic beforehand

2 plate ohp for reps is wayyyyy harder

Never seen someone OHP 2pl8 irl but I see dyel zoomers 4pl8 deadlift all the time at my gym

Not hard with a belt, figure 8 straps and a deadlift suit.

>deadlift suit
fug bros I don't have a deadlift suit, can I still make it?

I hit 395 for 3x5 last night at 160lbs, not that hard just keep lifting

Good genetics: 6-9 months training
Mediocre genetics: 1 yr
Bad genetics: 18 months to 2 yrs

2 plate ohp is damn near impossible, 4 plate deads are still pretty low by themselves desu. Also, (you).

You can do it in 6 months to 1 year following a liner program like starting strength. finishing with the texas method if you stall on SS. You will need to bulk to do it If you weigh less than 90kg

4pl8 max is like 150-160kg for a set of five. Hell you can 4 plate for 5 reps in one year if you apply yourself.

I can do 1/2/3 but I'm struggling with 4. I only tried once without a belt or straps. I did 3.5pl8s no problem but not the extra weight. Gonna try again soonish

Bossibl but herd

YES HELLO IS THIS THE DEADLIFT THREAD
HOW DO I ENGAGE MY HAMSTRINGS AND GLUTES
I DO NOT FEEL THEM
WAS LIFTING 250 3X5 BUT IT FELT LIKE MY BACK WAS DOING 100% OF THE WORK SO I DROPPED DOWN TO 200 AND STARTED DOING 3X8 TO WORK ON FORM BUT I STILL THINK MY BACK IS DOING TOO MUCH WORK

I got 4pl8 in highschool after like a year of fucking around. Just be white lmao

>i'm a fatass deadlifting 1.5x bodyweight
>it's easy

good morning
romanian deadlift
dumbell bulgarian split squat

That was my sophomore year in high school

pretty easy but i'm also built different

Not that hard. I got a 405 in 1.5 years. Just find a basic 2-3x a week deadlift program and do upper back/posterior chain work. I built mine up through doing both conventional/sumo, pedlay rows, Romanian deadlifts, and hip thrusts
