no

They actually aren't.

No way those boobs are real when she's that paper thin.

gay elastic bands

Just like your mom's pussy, they go loose after 5 months of use.
Weights will outlive you.

>Only good for pumps before photos

no but they are a good solution if you travel a lot

genes can work in mysterious ways

>not using bands and weights together

And no, OP, you’re very, very wrong and you’re a faggot so sage goes in all fields.

Convenience and expense wise, yes.

Also, using an anchor point that is actually an anchor is important. OP is retarded.

I like them for very select things.

I got a home gym. I'm a poor fag in an apartment, but I got a few decent things. I use my bands for stuff like high volume / light intensity shoulder work, and aid with pull-ups. But that's it really.

Why are the people in the pic dyel then?

They are much less fun to use tho.
What is the equivalent exercise of heavy squats and deadlifts with bands?
They are ok to warm up.
And holy shit, that chick should eat something.

They dont work AT ALL for gains. They are ok for rehab/prehab. Dont be an idiot.

You can stack as many bands as you like friend.

Absolutely based, have been making solid gains at home using these off of any solid surface you can hook them to.

Skelly on the left, dyel on the right kek

>variable force throughout movement
weights are better because whether you're at the start or end of a rep, it's still X lbs of resistance.

Only an absolute retard would say this.
Resistance bands are good and have their use, but nothing will ever be better than free weights.

As evidenced by zero professional athletes using them in place of weights

Bands are cool and they worked for Johnny bravo
But far from better in every way
Definitely worth using if you're a calisthenics chad though

Except that your muscles are capable of differing force throughout their range of motion, so even fixed weights provide variable resistance & stimulus to your muscle
Machines like nautilus are supposed to be designed so that the resistance matches the strength curve of your muscles for each exercise... I dunno about that but hey
