I'm swinging 500 swings tomorrow for the cute, short hair tomboy redhead who fed me tonight

I don't swing this way fag

500 swings? how do you organize it? I can only swing ~40 with my 45 lb kb after that my grip gives out, the next set I can do even less. How many sets and how many swings do you do in a set?

Sounds like sets of 10 to 25 sound about right for you.

For myself. Currently doing the 10k KB wing challenge. I'm trying to do it in 4 weeks, but I'm 1000 swings behind 2 weeks in. I reckon I'm gonna have to do a day of just swinging straight to hit my goal.
I actually really enjoy using kettlebells though, helped me get out of a bit of a rut, and I think I'm gonna keep using them well after I go back to more traditional training.
sets of 25 if you can, 10-15 if you can't. Imo its better to rest and get a long set then keep picking up and putting down the bell.
For the 10k thingo I do 10,15,25,25/25 to make a hundred with exercises at each asterisk and do that 5 times.

I'm gonna get laffed at. But I'm doing the t nation protocol

I did the four week program three years ago, and got into great shape. Now I want to make up for the last two years before spring break. Should be fun.
I'm super setting each cluster with ab wheel rollouts on Monday Wednesday Friday

Is using an 8kg dumbbell alright? I am a complete beginner.
Can you teach me form?

I guess. Here's a gif for the dumbbell variation
How much do you weigh? You might out run that weight after a week or two.

59kg. I bought a cheap adjustable dumbbell set (spinlock). How do I activate my lats during bent over rows btw, do I retract my scapula for the entire ROM?

I swing for the truckers

You protract your scapula when you're at the bottom of the rep then retract them when you get to the very top. Another thing I like to do with db rows is when I get to the top of the rep I rotate slightly to get more tension in my lats. Also for more lats you would pull towards your belly button bc otherwise you'd get more upper back.

Righto.. I'll try it later thanks for the advice.

thanks for the tips

33 yo, im starting with an 8kg kettlebell, is that a good start? just want to build muscle

Yeah, try it.

Why tho? It’s solid and if you finish it, good job. Nothing more, nothing less.
I did some modifications to it the last time I’ve done it. Pic related.

Good tips. I never feel rows in my lats, so this might help. Any other exercise with kb/db for lats? I don’t have a pull up bar.

Kettlebell swings will make your last thick. But only a pullup type will make them super wide.
