I'll have you know I was playing some gamecube games today.

I play through the gamecube's entire library every single day

gave up on my backlog a long time ago buddy
also whatever happened to shia laboeff? I thought he was getting better and more tolerable, based even?

>also whatever happened to shia laboeff?
beat his gf among other things.

killed in the Kherson "counter-offensive"

I've been stuck at the pointy end of my backlog for months now, still hoping to finish it off by the end of the year, or at least most of it. I've never been an crazy person about it I just wanted to get my steam backlog to less than 15 games unplayed since I felt that was a good point to have it at.
Anyway the list, in the approx planned playing order, is
>DMC3
>Fallout 1
>Witcher 2
>Yuppie Psycho
>Deus Ex 1
>DMC4
>E.Y.E
>Fallout 2
>LISA
>Sekiro
>Shadowrun Dragonfall
>KOTOR1
>Deadly Premonition
>DMC5
>New Vegas
>KOTOR2

Bros, do you have to finish a game to cross it off your backlog?

there's also another 10 or so games tied up in other launchers from giveaways I want to finish as well, partly because I already wanted to play them and partly so I don't have to deal with other launchers anymore.

no time to play every rpg and get a best ending on first try

nope.
Games are the single longest entertainment medium to consume collectively, if you don't want to finish a a game don't finish it. Just dump it in your dropped or finished folder on steam and move on.

I did play a video game today, so we’re getting there. Think I’m gonna start drawing soon though, if I don’t just crash.

He's still guarding that flag

But I just beat Shining Force II last night. Just chipping away at a few action games and maybe I'll beat them eventually. Not today, but eventually.

I used to go for 100% completion in every game I owned, but earlier this year I stopped and made it so that whenever I reach the end credits of one game, I move on to the next without hesitating.

So far I've beaten 45 games this year using this method. Not a whole lot, but 30 of those are just from June onward, including:

>Half-Life
>Neon White
>Trial Rising
>Crash 4
>Cruelty Squad
>Gran Turismo 7

Really, for all the talk people make about modern games taking 20+ hours of busywork, it's just not true. You can speed through most every game released in a fraction of that time as long as you stay focused on the main story or whatever. Sure, roguelikes and JRPGs are different, but that's to be expected.

I am trapped in the eternal wage cage and haven't played a video game in months.
>Go to work at 8 am
>Get home from work at 11 pm
>Go to bed immediately because fuckin exhausted
>Repeat every fucking day for the last 3 months because lmao why would we hire more employees when user is doing the work of 4 of them?
I'm finna tell these fools to kick rocks if this shit doesn't change soon, and I'm the only wagie that even knows how to do the damn job now so the mental image of some HR roastie scrambling to do my job until they can hire and train some unfortunate replacement and failing miserably is pleasing enough that it alone may be enough to make me quit.

do you guys go through multiple games at once?

I usually stick to one long game and one short game and pass them off each other

of course you're exhausted user, you get at most 4 hours of sleep assuming you get ready for work and arrive within an hour

I juggle games, but I play shorter games so if I get a game over that sends me to the title screen and I don't feel like playing anymore ill just pop in another game.
