Why in God's name would anybody want to be a cyborg?

I think its great as a second chance kind of thing.
Assuming robotics are preferred over some bioengineered tissue replacement, every person will simply need to take on those augments at some point in their lives
You will get cancer, your joints will fail, and everything will get worse. Having a permanent replacement that functions better than your original body parts just makes a ton of sense
Being a cyborg is like 100+ good things but 5 really bad things.
>sudden mp
>dead
or
>get hacked
>become slave
But otherwise most problems you have in life would be solved if you became a high sci-fi cyborg.
>detach hand
>attach the new onahole 3000 made by Amazon©
shit like that
A MG cyborg means everything gets replaced for combat efficiency. Sure you're superhuman but now you're a spine and a brain or in rare cases missing entire limbs and whole parts of the body like Sam. Armstrong for all his worth had nanomachine organs. If you don't value the ability to eat, sleep, have normal skin, touch and looking at a metallic shell it probably won't bother you. Now if you were a cyborg with organs, muscle, blood and sensations that completely mimic organics it wouldn't be so bad. But that would be having your cake and eating it too.
look at Sundowner's legs.
thats why. I would kill to get my dad some cyborg legs if it was available.
It entirely depends on how good the tech is
will they make raiden a complete robot with a chip as his main brain source downloaded kind of like 2b?
i have arthritis give me robot hands
THE FLESH IS WEAK
Well, i mean why not. You will be super strong and look like a badass
People don't realistically portray technology
If we somehow have a way not only to be cyborgs, but to hack each other, there is absolutely no way people haven't also invented a mind control bioweapon.
Considering how much easier it is to spread a pathogen, being cybernetic would make you far less prone to that kind of manipulation
>hacked
What kind of retard puts wifi in his prosthetic limbs?
If I could I'd be an adeptus mechanicus in no fucking time. Imagine living long enough to forget who you were originally while being part of some crazy cult where everyone is a toaster.
Honestly, I'd love to be as little flesh as possible. One day I hope to become a skeleton, but I would be willing to accept being a robot as well.
The same retards who put chips on every fucking electric devices in existence while only have 1 factory that makes those chips.
Us.
Pros: Augmented Everything
Cons: Can't swim
Why would you not want to be a fucking cyborg?
Would you have your robot body be transparent to see your own skeleton doing things?
>like Sam
