No, it won't. The issue is no large dev is willing to commit to it, and we don't live in the era of mid-sized developers. You're either indie, or you're owned by a publisher. Indies lack the opportunities and knowhow to make something that normalfags would play yet another fps but with some sort of gimmick like better physics, or "muh realistic gun handling" or some such.
There's some really great frameworks for VR, and even a couple good games. I really enjoy h3vr, but it's definitely not something everyone would like. Pavlov is fun but again, not for everyone. Beat saber, good, superhot VR is just a tech demo, but it's a damn good one.
Big companies have put out a handful of VR titles but mostly they're spinoffs by random D or E teams, and most of them were focused on PSVR, as it was, at the time, the most accessible headset to normalfag populations since it only needed a PS4. Most devs never even bothered porting these test cases for VR out. See:RE7, that cod abortion, etc.

It's going to take another shift for bigger devs to put games on VR again, and I think that bigger shift will be PSVR2, and the MS/xbox set. After that, we'll likely see them targeting quest 2 as the "standard alternative platform" (vs pc), and we might see more. But it's still a ways off. PSVR2 is rumoured to be ANNOUNCED at the end of this year, who the fuck knows when it might come out. I don't know anything about the xbox headset either, I think 2024 was it's tentative target date. We're a ways off, and by that point, realistically, the interest may have faded (Again, like after the ORDK1). VR moves so fucking glacially slow in terms of hardware advancement.
