I only learned after watching the anime. I played the Gameboy Advance game and i was surprised game let player (Ikki) to follow a route of either Karin or Erika while the anime mostly shilled for Ikki and Karin only

Imagine this show being translated into live action. Imagine ever living in new version of liberal 90's where guns are this popular they would allow a Pokemon tier movie where teen kids let their robot shoots machine guns and rocket launchers for fun toward another robot and his kid player. We will never live in this timeline

I did! It was really weird though, didn't really spell much out for you and I felt like it was easy to miss stuff. I ended up using a guide to get the different endings. The second one already looks graphically so much better that I'm hoping it added some QoL stuff to the gameplay too. Also, glad the collection has a speed-up feature; I think I would have gone insane watching the battles play out at normal speed.

personally i hate that episode, it has good scenes and action but it felt like whoever animate this just wanted to flex by doing those dynamic over the top poses most of the times
