Truly the MIGHTIEST of all aces, running to mommy Cynthia as soon as a ducky got too close and having her take out the true ace of the opponents they're fighting even tho it wouldn't affect it.

Because Garchomp is the ace and Togekiss isnt. Its more relevant and giving the boost to the stronger pokemon is always best in anime.
Also it would be fighting base Togekiss AND Mega Chomp, not 1v1
