I had this thought too after PLA. You even meet the other player character near the Battle Subway. However, in Pokemon generations Hilbert is seemingly still around so I wouldn't look to deep into it. If Ingo, Anabel, and Looker were transported to different timelines without Arceus's intervention it's possible that a similar thing happened to Hilda and Hilbert
