This probably will sound really dumb but this is the first time i've realised why Yanma & Piloswine by learning Ancient Power.
Since they evolve into defunct species, it makes for them to do so through learning ANCIENT Power.

the japanese word for it makes it more clear, it's called "Primeval Power"

Like 70% of gen 2 pokemon were 1-2 stage shitmons, it wasn't a very high bar. Some of those poor bastards are still waiting to be dug out of the trash heap, like dunsparce, girafarig, or delibird.

girafarig is hardly a shitmon, i mean compared to alakazam or hypno maybe but that's like saying noctowl's a shitmon because pidgeot exists.

noctowl is really bad
Pidgeot is already really subpar but noctowl is bad

by Any Forums's standards anything that isn't a minmaxed 530 bst ou viable mon is a shitmon

okay well maybe you can tell i don't use bird types very often but i thought he was like half decent at least.

Funnily enough i'd rather use Girafarig than either Pidgeot or Noctowl
Granted you have some TMs to give it if you're gonna run it in Older Gens, since it doesnt learn Psychic naturally until Gen 4
