In fact - yes. There is always something to throw pokeballs at. There are always either pokemon/trees with berries/apricorns/pokemon on them/ore clusters/shitton of different resources, collectibles etc. Anyone who saying what those maps are empty clearly hasn’t played the game and just shitposting for the sake of shitposting

The revamped catching, and seamless battles carry 99% of the game. The map and Noble Pokemon fights are awful. Still extremely fun though for a good bit.
