>actually enjoying a Pokémon game
This capture system should be the new standard.

it will be except for the next mainline game, unless it gets delayed(lol)

Anyone else feel like this is the Monster Hunter World of Pokemon games?

Capture system should be standard. The way learning moves, switching moves and the move tutor works should become the standard.
The most important thing for me is it switches back to getting exp for each Pokemon you down. Lead Pokemon getting revenge killed with no counterplay and losing all exp isn't okay.

Kamado looks so fucking ridiculous wearing his coat like a cape, what were they thinking?

that he looks cool from the front

How do you start the quest for the genies? Do you need to beat Volo in the postgame first?

Yes, Genies are last catches before the Big guy.

what are the catch rates of the new pokeballs during battles?

Prone crawling and underhand throws should be in this game.

>Accidentally killed the alpha Overqwil instead of catching it
>look up how to evolve Qwilfish

Will never happen because lol nintendo, and gamefreak can't even handle HD graphics on a normal console, but this catching system in VR with full hand motion control would be awesome.

Have you looked at basically any of the pokemon's research tasks? A lot of them need you to use moves over and over.

Anyone else's Cyndaquil/Quilava a major jobber? He's so squishy and it doesn't help it seems like most Pokemon in the beginning pull out a super effective move on him

>acting like using a move 20 times is some kind of arduous task
Do you know how many times you use any given move over the course of a playthrough, user? Stop treating it like something you're crossing off of a checklist and it won't seem so bad. Jut incorporate it into your normal gameplay.

yes until I got her on steroids

Yep. Nearly everything has a rock or ground attack to screw it over, and once it evolves you'll notice every enemy in the game has crunch. Not to mention its move pool has awful coverage for special attacks.

She's squishy but still useful. Bad coverage but hits hard, at least.

Anyone figure out what triggers space time dimensions yet? I need a Johto Sneasel to Complete the dex.

Do you get boosted shiny rates for fully completing a pokemon's research tasks, or do you only need to get it to level 10 for the shiny rate boost?
