I need this question answered. I got an Alpha Blissey, and for some reason despite its attack stat being around 40, it's absolutely wrecking the shit out of mons with double edge about as much as hyper beam and Blissey's sp atk stat is 4 times higher.. Is there some sort of mechanic that makes attack stats irrelevant or some shit?

Also, apparently you need 2 Pokemon for the farm, regardless of their mixed type. I used an Earth&Water one and the guy still asked for the second Water Pokemon.

Wait, that's supposed to be painful? I caught both during my first space distortion in the area while still progressing through the game
I wasn't so lucky, and now I have to wait for a distortion to form. There's no way to force them to appear, right? It's all RNG?

I was drowned in distortion zones during the story but now that I want them I can't get one to appear
