I am only missing Spiritomb to get arceus so I haven't really finished the game
I love everything about it but the visuals are insulting, there's no reason for the game to look that ugly. Needs more pokemon. I think at least 400~ is fine
Unironically, at least some degree of voice acting. The cutscenes are too awkward. And finally, please more trainer battles. If khu isn't messing around and dlc is coming it can be a 9/10 for me depending on how many mons they add and what the dlc will be about

I finished post game last night and am currently mint farming and grit training my 3rd team of Pokemon as well as doing some dex stuff.
Personally, I'd give it a solid 7.5/10. It's easily the best Pokemon game I've played since HGSS. I'd rank it MUCH higher if there were online battles and an actual competitive scene, but I'm a smogon compfag, so take that into consideration. The battles are way more streamlined and fast paced. And this is literally the first time in the series where catching the Pokemon is legit fun. The story is dog shit though, so you'll have to deal with stale characters and typical Pokemon tropes that you've seen for like 2 decades now.
Tl;dr
I dont regret my purchase at all. 7.5/10

High 30's, maybe 43/100 at best. The story was really repetitive, and catching Pokémon was fun until everything could spot you from 30 feet away and get aggro'd.

As a JRPG- 3/10, really painfully barebones
As a Pokemon game- 8/10, holy shit what an incredible breath of fresh air, but goddamn what happened with some of the battle mechanics
That said, I enjoyed it at the 8/10 level, so fuck it, good game.
